Hospice Care and Pain Management

Hospice is a service for an animal that has been diagnosed with a terminal disease or condition with no cure in order to provide them with medical care to keep them as comfortable as possible until death or euthanasia occurs. Many times, you will hear the term “palliative care” which is treating symptoms of a disease (pain, nausea, etc.) but not the disease itself.

To help them maintain their mobility and quality of life, we offer many management options for pets in need of hospice care including but not limited to:

  • Pain/anxiety medications
  • Laser therapy
  • Dementia support
  • Nutritional supplements and dietary plans
  • Gastrointestinal support medication
  • Fluid therapy
